program. Digging ponds and lakes not only allows us to expand our customer base,
but it gets us involved in some very interesting and rewarding projects.
We usually are contacted by a home/property owner interested in having a pond or lake installed on their site. Using Stansley Mineral Resources is a very affordable option because we market the sand excavated from the site. Over the past several years we have created ponds and lakes ranging in size from a half acre to 100 acres. Each project has its own set of challenges, but our professional experience always sees us through. Creating lakes on a large scale (25 to 100 acres) has allowed us to gain the experience and knowledge to efficiently create smaller ponds and lakes (1/2 to 20 acres) for the typical homeowner. Stansley Mineral Resources has applied this expertise to enhance the rural character of several residential properties in southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio. Our involvement in the mining industry carries many responsibilities toward the communities in which we operate and forces us to be sensitive to the engineering and environmental hurdles that may arise throughout the different phases of a project. Items we take pride in accomplishing include the creation of various non-evasive excavation and material transfer techniques to environmental enhancement of the subject properties and surrounding areas.
